Anthony Fitch – Grant Writer

Anthony Fitch is PVNN’s Grant Writer. He obtained a Master’s degree in English at the University of Texas at San Antonio, specializing in postcolonial studies. He also received a Bachelor’s degree in Government and a Bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric & Composition, both at the University of Texas at Austin.

Throughout his academic career, Fitch specialized in the study of political discourse, i.e., how a society communicates its desires for public policy. He believes that politics influences nearly every aspect of a society, from its art and literature to the food it consumes, to the leisure activities it enjoys. For this reason, he believes that identifying the role of politics in daily life and having the ability to clearly communicate one’s political beliefs are crucial for every citizen in a healthy, functional democracy. As the chief grant writer for PVNN, he seeks to find and work with organizations and foundations that hold education and advocacy on diverse public policies for all people.
