Violent Protests at UC Berkeley

During the night that Milo Yiannopoulos was due to give his speech at the University of California Berkeley, Violent Protests erupted in which multiple people were harmed. The protestors and rioters caused nearly $100,000 in damage, and the university stated that “150 masked agitators” for the unrest, saying they had come to campus to disturb an otherwise peaceful protest.”

President Trump’s orders on Immigration Supported by most of Country

The controversial executive order put forward by President Trump to limit travel from countries with refugees was met with multiple protests throughout the country, but it seems that most Americans agree with the move. A new Rasmussen Poll found that 57 percent of American citizens support the temporary 120-day ban.

Border Wall Should Be Completed in Two Years

Newly-minted Homeland Security secretary John F. Kelly stated in his first Television interview that the infamous Border Wall which Donald Trump promised on his campaign trail will be built within the next two years.  According to the article, Kelly stated “”The wall will be built where it’s needed first, and then it will be filled in. That’s the way I look at it,” Kelly said. “I really hope to have it done within the next two years.”

Groundhog Day: Phil Predicts 6 more weeks of Winter

The tradition of Groundhog Day was held once again, looking to see if Punxsutawney Phil was to see his own shadow or not, and whether or not we would have six more weeks of Winter or if Spring would come early. The results came in that the United States would be seeing six more weeks of winter. The article states “Records dating to 1887 show Phil has now predicted more winter 103 times while forecasting an early spring just 18 times – including last year. There are no records for the remaining years.”
