1. U.N. Security Council approves plan to end Syrian civil war

The UN unanimously approved of a plan on Friday to embrace cease-fire and a peace process for the Syrian civil war. Although the future of President Bashar al-Assad and all the details concerning the process of peace is still not clear, one thing is for certain: the killing must stop. Sec. of State John Kerry stated, “This council is sending a clear message to all concerned that the time is now to stop the killing in Syria and lay the groundwork for a government.”

2. Bernie sues the DNC

The Democratic National Committee suspended Sander’s campaign  on Friday from accessing their database as  punishment for accessing Hilary’s private campaign data; in reality, a technical glitch made her information viewable. Sander’s campaign is now suing the DNC and accusing them of helping Hilary Clinton.

3. Neighbor of San Bernardino shooter arrested for giving arms to terrorists

Enrique Marquez, friend of  San Bernardino shooter Syed Farook, was arrested on Thursday for allegedly providing guns, rifles, and other materials to the San Bernardino shooters. According to officials, Marquez had also been plotting a terror attack with Farook in 2011, but the attacks were not carried out. Currently, there is no evidence that Marquez participated in the shooting with the couple two weeks ago.
