Jill Stein leads recount effort in 3 Battleground States

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, news broke that a total of $4 million had been fundraised to Jill Stein to lead an election vote recount in 3 battleground states, including Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. In the article, Stein is noted as saying “After a divisive and painful presidential race, reported hacks into voter and party databases and individual email accounts are causing many American to wonder if our election results are reliable. These concerns need to be investigated before the 2016 presidential election is certified.” She continued, “We deserve elections we can trust.”

Russian Efforts helped spread Fake Election News

In an article released Thursday, it has become apparent that there were Russian efforts that helped to spread fake news to disarm the Clinton campaign. According to the article, it states that “Russia’s increasingly sophisticated propaganda machinery — including thousands of botnets, teams of paid human “trolls,” and networks of websites and social-media accounts — echoed and amplified right-wing sites across the Internet as they portrayed Clinton as a criminal hiding potentially fatal health problems and preparing to hand control of the nation to a shadowy cabal of global financiers.”

Republicans Divided between Giuliani and Romney for Secretary of State

In the growing Trump administration, more is coming out about the picks for Secretary of State, which at the time is being considered for Mitt Romney or Rudy Giuliani, which has Republicans divided. According to the article, it states that it “it traces the outlines of the enduring split in the Republican Party between establishment figures who scoffed at Mr. Trump’s chances of victory and the grass-roots insurgents who backed him as a disrupter of the Washington power structure.”

Brady Bunch actress Florence Henderson dies at 82

In news that broke early Friday morning, Florence Henderson, mother figure in the hit show “The Brady Bunch” passed away at 82. According to an article published by the New York Times, “Her death was confirmed by David Brokaw, her publicist. He said that she died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and that her family said the cause was heart failure.”
